Second Grade

Mrs. Sharon Hagan has taught full time in the Catholic Diocese of Wichita for 10 years. She has also substituted for several years. This is her 3rd year at St. Patrick’s. Being an alumni of St. Patrick School, she is in familiar territory. She loves the 2nd grade classroom and enjoys preparing the students for their First Reconciliation and First Communion. They have fun learning about the early Wichita community, and each year there is usually a field trip to Cowtown. This year students are learning a lot of Math with blocks, paper money, clocks, and their Everyday Math Journals. They participate in the SFA Reading program and become well prepared for the 3rd grade. The students look ahead to the future for when they will become the new community leaders.
