Principal/Directora
Ms. Theresa Cúc Lam is a first generation immigrant from Vietnam. Her parents had braved the dangerous trip to escape Communism in search for religious freedom and a brighter life for the family shortly after the fall of Saigon. Theresa has earned herself three degrees: a Bachelor in Secondary Mathematics with a minor in Computer Studies, and two masters degree, one in Curriculum & Instructions with emphasis on English Language Learners (ELL) and the other one in Educational Administration, which has prepared her to take on the challenges of being principal of St. Patrick. Her experiences had mainly been in public schools as a graduate of Grow Your Own Teacher participant. Theresa and her husband Trieu Hoang are active stewards of Christ the King where three of the four children (Vivian-8th grade, Phillip-6th grade, and Cynthia-1st grade) attend school; the oldest, Annie, is currently at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. In addition, her family continues to participate with the Vietnamese cultural events at St. Anthony. She serves on the Vietnamese Pastoral Council for the Bishop. Theresa looks forward to serving the diverse needs of St. Patrick’s students along with the dedications of the staff and faculty of St. Patrick.
